Hello everyone! Have you ever heard of these hidden wonders, nestled in the heart of our lands, just waiting for the magic wand of two interior design wizards to bring them back to life? Well, let me tell you about our recent adventure in Rambouillet!

Claire, a friend who's a fantastically talented interior designer (and myself, but that's another story 😉) pitched in. And when I say "we," I mean to emphasize that it was truly a team effort. Our challenge? Renovate a large family home on a budget of less than 1,000 euros per m².
When we arrived, what struck us was the cottage-like charm of this house. We immediately thought: retro English with touches of nature! Do you get the idea?
Concerned about respecting the planet (and our customers' wallets), we've opted for sustainable materials and many second-hand pieces of furniture. And yes, nothing is wasted, everything is transformed!
Step one: knock down the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room and install a magnificent glass roof. The result? Light, space, and a very British je ne sais quoi! And then, this kitchen... The existing furniture got a makeover, and the floor was covered with cement tiles. And the trick with the 120X60 cm tiled worktop? A low cost for a chic effect!

The dining room is adorned with William Morris plant-based wallpaper, for a very British atmosphere, of course! As for the dominant color of our project, it's green. A shade that makes a strong comeback in the living room to give that essential pep to this type of home.
Our minds then wander to the playroom: terracotta and soft beige. A quick detour to the bathrooms, and there we are, playing with zellige-style tiles and raw wood. A perfect harmony!
A special mention for Madame's office. Thanks to a new glass roof, this formerly windowless room is now bright and airy. The touches of green and terracotta? They're there, of course!
And what about the master bedroom? Woodwork bathed in a deep blue. For the baby, the wallpaper is preserved and the woodwork is in sky blue for dreaming under the stars.
The rest of the house, whether bedrooms, offices or laundry rooms, follows our common thread: plants.

And surprise! We've also created a guest cottage, perfect for families or work groups. A small kitchen, stone tones... and of course, our must-have travertine bathroom.
So, our adventure in Rambouillet ends here. Claire and I are proud of this project and hope that this house will once again feel like a happy family. And you? Ready to entrust us with your little gem for transformation? 😉🏡🍃
Looking forward to seeing you soon for more decorating adventures!
